Podiatry

What is podiatry?

Podiatry is a specialized field focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various foot conditions. At our clinic, we offer comprehensive foot care including expert examinations, advice, and therapeutic treatments. Based on a podiatric assessment, we will recommend personalized solutions to help keep your feet healthy and pain-free.

Your feet are the foundation of your body and play a crucial role in the proper function of your musculoskeletal system. Foot problems can affect overall health and cause pain not only in the feet but also in the knees, hips, and spine. Our podiatry services specialize in diagnosing, preventing, and treating foot issues, as well as producing custom corrective insoles that enhance comfort and proper foot function. For skin or nail care, please consult a pedicurist.

What we offer:

  • Foot examination: A detailed assessment of your feet, including analysis of foot alignment, pressure distribution while walking, and identification of conditions such as flat feet, high arches, hallux valgus (bunion), and others.

  • Foot therapy: Manual treatments and exercises designed to improve foot mobility and flexibility, prevent injuries, and strengthen muscles that support proper foot function.

  • Custom insole production: Based on your individual needs, we create custom thermoplastic insoles that adjust walking mechanics, support correct posture, and reduce pain in the feet and other parts of the musculoskeletal system.

How does a podiatric examination work?

During your first visit, a physiotherapist-podiatrist will thoroughly review your concerns and conduct a detailed foot examination, including analysis of foot position and gait. Based on this assessment, we will recommend appropriate treatment, which may include therapy, custom insoles, or rehabilitation exercises. Every patient is unique, so treatments are tailored to individual needs.
